Reconnect with nature on an environmental adventure at Camp Kernow’s off-grid summer camp in the heart of the English countryside.
Participants experience a packed programme of exciting and unforgettable summer camp experiences from morning to night. Ascend into the canopy of the big Beech tree 'David Attenborough style' on a technical tree climbing mission, forge a toasting fork for marshmallows under the guidance of our blacksmith, discover the edible treasures hidden in the hedgerows with our wild food expert and navigate the river on a kayaking expedition.
The centre exists off-grid employing sustainable systems including composting toilets, reed-beds, a solar powered water pumping unit, solar thermal panels and biomass-fuelled showers. This enables particpants to understand and experience first-hand a new way of living in balance with nature, it’s ecological systems and natural resources.
